He advised people not to cut trees along the river bank because they are a source of food and shade for the fish. He also warned the people not to cut down trees as that would cause a climate change. He also advised the people not to throw rubbish to the river coz that would pollute the water. The Tagang system is a concept of protection, conservation and management of fish resource in the river. He also congratulated the kampung people for taking part in the Tagang system for there are only 42 places in the state that adopt the system. He also stressed the risen of temperature by 0.6 to 2.6 degrees celsius. He urged the people to take extra careful of the haze and H1N1.
