Vegetables on display on the Feast of St Ann 26/7/09

This fruit normally we just ignore it coz it bears fruit the same time as the durian season. But if in Sabah, this fruit is very expensive as it is used to make jeruk/'snoker'.. We Bidayuh called it Bewang but the Sabahan says Bambangan .


This rice is contributed by Kampun Menjau and Kampung Kuang. It is a new rice. Therefore, after snapping it, I turned around and was talking to friends. It was only a matter of 7 minutes and the rice was already taken by somebody.


On that day, there were a lot of coconuts being sold



And this is the table from Kampung Peraya. As usual they had plenty of pineaples. The taste was recognized by many people as sweet n juicy.
