This is one of the 'lubuk' that has a lot of fish. This weekend that is on the 8 n 9 of Aug2009, the kampung people are going to open the Tagang. So, I'll be there to bring you live the activity on that day.
Before this 'TAGANG' project was introduced, our river was a dead river coz there were no living creatures in it. But the river today is different. There are a variety of fish found in the river. Last Gawai, this 'Lubuk' was open to everyone to fish but unfortunately the fish didn't want to eat the baits coz they were also having their festive mood. A lot of food were thrown into the river.

And this is the camp for visitors who wish to see the Tagang on the 9th Aug.2009. I think it is open to every to see. So, cameraman, journalists are all welcome to snap photos but not to bring back fish.

invite me one day Dai to document the event. i was at tagang sg semadang on 9.8.09 to witness catching varieties of fish including 2 five kilos kaloi. nice to see about 50 folks catching fish
